About Us

Al Bukhara is a creation of two people Naresh an Optometrist and food enthusiast and his wife Bela and Home Maker and an exceptional cook. Naresh and Bela’s story starts with the couple coming to Al Ain in 1988 with a vision to make a difference.

With their love for food they led to the creation of Al Bukhara in the year 1999, there was no looking back from then.

Al Bukhara, contemporary designed and influenced by ancient Indian traditions. It offers a lush fine-dine and Take-away experience. With its intoxicating mix of old and new setting, its effortlessly charming staff and its tantalizing food will make you want to come back for more.

Why is Bukhara Restaurant Different from others?

If you pay a little attention to the dishes served in restaurants you may not realize just how many dishes are oily greasy and over coloured. We all know oil is needed to cook most of our foods but we should use less oil.

Main Reasons the Bukhara Restaurant is Different from others?

Food is free from excessive oil and not grazy.
No artificial colours are added which is most dangerous for digestive system.
No testing salt is used to any products.
Preservation and cooking are conducted strictly maintaining the rules of cooking science.
Fresh herbs ingredients spices and vegetables are used for our products.
Preserved and canned products are very rarely used.
The way of processing and cooking food keeps the nutritional value which is most important for human body.

One of Al Ain’s favorite old restaurants, loved by generations of expats who follow to the new locations- myself I was frequenting visiting Bukhara since ’99. The new location is excellent and with ample parking, and the décor is modern and fresh- the food is as good as it was before. The Pani Puri was served in elegant fashion, which made me worry the price has hiked, but to our surprise it was as affordable as before. Looking forward for my next visit.
